Your child builds the story – I help shape it into something magical.
Some kids have plenty of imagination but need a little help putting their ideas together. That’s exactly what the Tale Teller package is for.
Your child becomes the storyteller, working through fun, age-appropriate prompts to build their world, characters and plot. They write their favourite bits of the story, then I take the rest of their ideas and turn it into a polished, personalised story they can be proud of.

How It Works:
- You’ll receive an email with a PDF of your child’s story pack. This can be completed digitally by editing the PDF or printed out and filled out by hand.
Alternatively, the email will have a link that takes you to an online story pack to fill in. - Your child fills in the story pack with all of their ideas. It contains plenty of prompts to help them develop their story’s structure and characters’ arcs.
- They use their ideas in the story pack to start writing. They can choose to write their favourite parts – or the bits that are most important to them.
- Send the story pack back to me and I’ll finish up their unique story based on their ideas and what they have written already.
- You review the draft and let me know if you would like any changes.
- I format it into a proper book you can read together!
What’s Included in Tale Teller?
- A creative story pack to prompt your child to create plot and character ideas
- A full story co-written by your child and a real children’s author between 4,000-5,000 words – about the length of Roald Dahl favourites like The Magic Finger or The Giraffe and the Pelly and Me.
- Light editing to polish, enhance their storytelling and inject their tone of voice.
- A customisable cover if they have any requests or artwork
- One round of edits if you’d like to tweak the final version
